Volume

The volume of a block, prism, or cylinder is easily calculated by multiplying the area of the base by the height/altitude of the object.
When the bases are not parallel, the height or altitude of the object is from the center point of one base to the center point of the other base.
Volume = (area of base x height)

The volume of cones and pyramids is calculated by multiplying the base by the height and then dividing by 3.
Volume = (area of base x height) / 3
